AS FAR as TV psychics go, there are very few like Sally Morgan.
Having captured the hearts of UK audiences on her own ITV show, Sally Morgan: Star Psychic, her bubbly personality and eerily accurate readings have helped secure millions of fans all over the world.
The Pioneer caught up with the median ahead of her visit to Llandudno's Venue Cymru to talk about the show, her view of Americans, and what she thinks of growing older.
Since turning professional, Sally has read for a host of celebrities including George Michael, Linda Lusardi, The Cheeky Girls, Mel B, and most notably the late Princess Diana, who Sally read for over a period of several years.
Her new touring show, An Audience With Sally Morgan, is a chance to meet the woman who has amazed famous faces in person.
"The show is an audience with Sally Morgan. People do get messages and people can also leave me messages if they want to and we put them up on screen. Often you get drawn to one part of the audience because there is a lot of energy there, but I wanted to randomly reach as many people as possible.
"But I also wanted to answer a lot questions I am always asked, like when I first learned I could do this; to tell the story of my journey. It's a show!"
Proud of her ties to Wales ("I'm a 'Morgan'. My darling father in law was very Welsh - they're lovely people."), Sally is looking forward to her trip to Llandudno.
"I've done 12 shows so far out of 140! I get on stage not knowing what will happen - it's completely nerve wracking. Before I go on stage I think I must be completely mad, but I love it.
"80 per cent of people who come are fans of the show, but we do get some hardened spiritualist mediums who wonder who this woman on stage wearing pink is. But that's just me."
Sally has always had the ability to connect with the spirit world and had her first psychic experience at only 9 months old.
Since then, she has learned to control her gift and has gone on to astound event the most renowned scientists
Having recently visited Los Angeles, she found the experience strangely comfortable.
"I fit in perfectly because they are all mad. The first meeting I had with a network MD he was taking the meeting on an exercise ball.
Everyone was acting like it was normal but I was in hysterics. He said, 'What's funny?' and I said 'You're having a laugh aren't you?'"
With plenty of projects open to Sally, what is next for the star psychic?
"Let's get the UK over with first. I do love Australia and they love me there.
"I'm 57 and all this is happening. I really want women and men to know it's not the end of the world when you reach your late 50s and 60s. 60 is the new 40. But at my age I'm not into converting the unconvertible. I want to speak to people who want to speak to me."
An Audience With Sally Morgan will be showing at Venue Cymru on Monday, June 30. For more information or to book tickets contact the Box Office on 01492 872000 or visit the website at www.venuecymru.co.uk
