ST ASAPH will be living up to its title of City of Music this month when the eagerly anticipated Party In The Parc returns to the Roe Plas playing fields.

An eclectic feast of musical delights including rock, pop and swing will be congregating on July 19 to offer a family friendly day of live entertainment.

Between 2pm and 10pm, 11 acts from across North Wales will be taking to the stage.

The sensational Goodfellas ten piece rhythm and blues soul band will be on hand inject some big band sounds into the proceedings, with singer/songwriting regulars Kyle Parry and Ralph Latham providing acoustic support.

And Rhyl based indie-rockers Evolve will be performing their particular brand of catchy melodies and infectious tunes which are sure to get the crowds going.

Carrying on the day will be a live show by The Dirty Dogs and smooth rockers The Reads.

A special guest appearance by Britain's Got Talent contestant James Stone and music by The Duffs, Box of Frogs, Toni Bragg and John Doe completes the line-up of top acts.

But there will be plenty going on other than music at Party In The Parc this year, with a Jolly Jungle for the kids, trampolines, and face painting for the young and young at heart available.

And a hog roast will be on hand to keep hungry festival goers going through the day.

Party In The Parc 2008 promises to be the best yet and an event no live music fan can afford to miss.
