BLUES is coming to the Bay on April 10 when The Mojo Buford Blues Band perform live at the Litten Tree.
George 'Mojo' Buford is one of the last of the old generation of Chicago blues men and is still going strong at the age of 78, appearing regularly in the USA at festivals and blues gigs.
As a member of one of the greatest blues band of all time, The Muddy Waters Band, Mojo played harmonica first in 1959 for Muddy and again at different times throughout the next three decades before Muddy died in 1983.
He received his moniker from Muddy's legendary song 'Got My Mojo Working' - a song that naturally figures in his live set along with many of the great blues classics.
Joining Mojo on what is expected to be his final UK tour is Memphis drummer Doug McMinn who played for Chuck Berry, BB King and Albert King; Chris Lomas from Stourbridge on bass guitar; and one of the UK's finest blues guitarists, Tommy Allen from the band Trafficker, leading the band.
Don't miss this rare opportunity to see a true legend perform live when The Mojo Buford Blues Band take to the stage at the Litten Tree, Station Road, Colwyn Bay, on April 10.
