WITNESSES are being sought following two incidents where stones were thrown at vehicles on the A55 in Conwy.
The first incident was reported at 9.42pm on Friday, August 4 when a stone was thrown from the bridge at the Llandudno Junction roundabout damaging the sun visor of a passing lorry.
In a second incident, on Saturday afternoon, occupants of a white Seat Leon car are believed to have thrown stones at a passing Fiat 500 travelling westbound in lane two, near Junction 17 for Conwy.
Inspector Kelly Isaacs said “Fortunately no one was hurt, but the consequences of this criminal behaviour could have been fatal.
“We will be stepping up patrols and I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has dash-cam footage of the incidents.”
