A TONY and Oscar-winning tale is making its way to Colwyn Bay, Rhyl and Prestatyn.
Coming from the West End’s Dominion Theatre, An American in Paris will screen at Theatr Colwyn,Vue Rhyl and Prestatyn Scala on Wednesday, May 16 (7pm).
Inspired by the Oscar-winning film of the same name starring Gene Kelly and Leslie Caron, the Tony-winning stage production features many of George and Ira Gershwin’s most iconic songs, including I Got Rhythm, S'Wonderful, and They Can’t Take That Away from Me.
With a record-setting 28 five-star reviews, this impassioned musical tells story of American GI Jerry Mulligan and his chance encounter with a beautiful young dancer named Lise – against the sublimely-staged backdrop of a sensuous City of Light in the aftermath of war.
