Ronstadt Generations bring their colourful brand of roots music to Conwy Folk Club on Monday, August 20.
Band leader Michael J Ronstadt is the younger brother of Grammy-winning singer Linda Ronstadt, and his musical heritage dates back five generations.
Michael and sons Michael G and Petie form a family three piece to be reckoned with All strong singers and multi-instrumentalists, the group’s repertoire harks back to the end of the 19th century while also looking ahead to the 21st.
Their set includes a rich seam of original material, alongside traditional southwestern and Mexican songs.
The band has performed with the likes of Los Lobos, the Dixie Hummingbirds and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.
