PANTO funny man John Evans is coming back to Llandudno for the third year in a row and this time he is bringing along the family for an extended stay.

John, who plays Muddles in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Venue Cymru this Christmas, will star alongside Strictly Come Dancing star Craig Revel Horwood.

And during the show's run John will be bringing wife Jackie, his three children with him to spend Christmas in the area.

He said: "I can't believe it. I'm delighted to come back to Llandudno. Last year we rented a flat, we had a lovely time. So I’m renting a house in Penrhynside. I love it I can’t get enough of the place. Last year they had a lovely time, we had one of the most relaxing Christmases ever."

As a top comedian John is much sought after and has made himself an automatic choice for P&O Cruises on their top ships and he is in demand with a host of other cruise lines.

But with so much work John ends up spending a lot of time away from his family.

He said: "I do so much work away I'm never normally home for more than a week. To have five weeks together is great. It is a lovely life. The family are behind me, so it is never a problem."

With Craig Revel Horwood back on our screens on Strictly Come Dancing and back to his sharp-tongued self John has no doubt this year's panto is going to be a hit.

He said: "Craig is going to be fantastic. It is going to be really great. We have had a very brief chat with him. He is not like what you see on Strictly. I am looking forward to working with him. We have a couple of scenes together.

"I play Muddles, the character does not have too much to do as part of the plot, so it is my chance to be funny. I like that part of it. There will be jokes about X-Factor and Gok Wan. If you can make the kids and adults laugh that is always good."
