POP princesses The Saturdays are back with a new album titled Headlines! and a reality TV show on the way.
The Pioneer caught up with group member Rochelle to talk about the release and what it's like being followed by film cameras.

Why decide to release a mini album?
It's only got eight tracks, but we found some songs we really really liked and just wanted to put them out now even though it's not as big as what we've released before.

Do you get nervous ahead of a release?
More excited - that's why we're releasing it. We're all just really excited.

Current single Missing You is a summer track. What is it about the song you love so much?
When we first heard it was so current, and had a different edge for us. Something a little bit different to normal Saturdays.

Fiming the video in Malaga must have been nice.
It was amazing! It wasn't like working at all. Off set we just sun bathed.

You've got a reality TV show screening soon.
It's on ITV2 and called The Saturdays 24/7 and it's literally 24/7. We're quite excited about 24/7. They approached us and said we'd like to do a documentary. At first we were like 'how much are we going to be followed. It'll get for a different load of people knowing about us because we didn't come from a reality TV show or anything.

Is it nerve-wracking having a film crew following you around? Any embarrasing moments?
You forget they're there. Nothing embarrasing I know of, but I'm sure I'll watch it back and go 'Oh no!'.

How would you describe the show to a Saturdays fan?
You get a chance to see what we do, how much hard work it takes, and how much fun it is to be in The Saturdays.

What's next? Touring? More recording?
There's so much on with the documentary, the album, the jewellery range we're launching and the book. We'll have to see if we can maybe squeeze in a tour. We'll see.
