A COMMUNITY arts project is looking for eager extras to feature in its latest film.

TAPE Community Music and Film, based in Old Colwyn, is currently developing a film called Legacy which deals with the issues and consequences of substance misuse.

The film will then be taken to local schools and colleges to raise awareness.

Legacy has been written and is being acted, shot, edited and soundtracked by people who use TAPE’s services; many of whom have been affected by substance misuse in the past.

The film-makers have yet to film two key scenes requiring extras, and are inviting local people to get involved.

The first scene is a 1992 inspired nightclub which will be filmed between 12:30pm-4pm on Monday March 29 at the Interchange in Old Colwyn.

TAPE are looking for young people over the age of 16 to be part of the nightclub crowd. Extras are asked to dress ‘retro’ like clubbers from the era, with white gloves, whistles, and other ‘raver’ paraphernalia.

The second scene is at a wedding which will be shooting at the Deganwy Quay Hotel on Sunday, March 28 after 12pm.

Film-makers need people of all ages to play wedding guests, with speaking roles a possibility.

Like the nightclub scene, participants are required to bring their own wardrobe and are encouraged to dress to impress.
