TWO young farmers from the Tanat Valley have taken the internet by storm with their cover of Rihanna’s song S&M.

Richard Lewis, of Llanfyllin, and Llion Vaughan, of Llanrhaeadr, who go under the name of DJ Wooly and Will I Lamb, filmed ‘Plough On’ at Green Hall Farm in Llanfyllin as part of a competition known as Tractor Factor, organised by the Farmer’s Guardian.

The two Llanfyllin High School pupils are competing against girl bands on tractors, Scotland’s answer to Justin Bieber and the Dorset countryside’s finest rappers for the next farming chart hit and four tickets to Glastonbury later this year.

“It was great fun to make and everyone who has watched it absolutely loves it, they all think it is hilarious,” explains Richard, a sixth form pupil at Llanfyllin High School.

“Within a week of putting the video on YouTube we had more than 1,800 hits and a few really positive comments from people who have watched it.”

Entry to the competition is now closed and the Farmer’s Guardian will be announcing their shortlist on May 13, giving you the opportunity to vote on your favourite.

In the meantime take a look at DJ Wooly (featuring Will I Lamb) performing Plough On at Green Hall Farm in Llanfyllin
