CONWY punk-rockers 3ac will be sharing the stage with bands including Funeral For A Friend and Young Guns in Llangollen this month after impressing judges of a national competition.
The Focus Wales 2011 New Music Competition saw more than 80 acts from across the country go head-to-head for one of two slots at the eagerly anticipated Focus Wales two day music festival.
Thanks to a surge of support from fans, the four-piece made up Craig Pheasey, Dave Podbury, Craig Hughes, and Gez Roberts have been given a place on the rosta, which is being headlined by Welsh emo heroes Funeral For A Friend.
3ac's infectious adrenaline pop-punk has seen the band receive plenty of radio play on BBC, mentions in Kerrang, the NME (and The Entertainer) as well as sharing the line-up with bands including Son Of Dork.
Lying somewhere between New Found Glory and early The Starting Line, the band weave insanely catchy melodies together with mind-melting riffs to create insanely energetic pogo-manic music.
3ac will be performing live at the Focus Wales music event at the Royal International Pavilion Llangollen on Saturday, May 28. For more information or to book tickets visit the website at www.focuswales.com
