ABERGELE Swimming Club put in another gold-standard performance at the recent Conwy Whitsun Meet at Llandudno Swimming Centre.
Eleven juniors from the club were in action, taking four gold, six silver and five bronze medals, as well as an amazing 52 personal best times.
Ioan Wellsbury put in another superb performance to finish second overall in the 14-15 boys category, recording a personal best in all nine of his races as well as golds in the 200m breaststroke and fly and 400m IM, as well as two silvers and a bronze.
Ceri Williams took gold in the 100m IM, as well as three silvers in the 50m free and breaststroke and the 200m backstroke, a bronze and three PBs.
Bethan Hale won silver in the 100m freestyle and bronze in the 100m backstroke to finish third overall in the girls 15 and over. Gethin Jones once again produced a clean sweep of PBs in all eight of his races, and collected a bronze for the 50m breaststroke.
Erin Botham also won bronze in the 50m breaststroke and achieved three PB times, whilst Catrin Wellsbury had a great weekend, setting seven PBs.
Elain Jenkins notched six new PBs, including a huge 26 second improvement in her 400m freestyle, whilst Eleri Hale set four best times.
Nicole Gorospe set another six personal bests, Sean Williams set two record times and there was another record for Siriol Jones in the 100m IM.
