Magnificent 7 lead way in futebol league

THE MAGNIFICENT 7 continue to lead the Colwyn Bay Futebol League after a 4-0 win over close rivals Action Villa.

James Cody netted a double and there were also strikes from Kevin Goodwin and Chris Campbell to round off the victory, with Villa’s Damo Hall taking the man of the match award.

O.C. Evolution kept the pressure on after a 4-1 win over Bayerneverlosin, with Dan Taylor Lewis and man of the match Matty Wafer scoring two goals a piece and Sean McHale replying for Bayer.

A hard fought 1-0 result handed victory to Aksaray FC over Team Pale, with Eddie Erdogan scoring the winning goal and the man of the match going to Karl Cody for his performance in the Aksaray goal.

Two superb strikes from man of the match Colin Roberts gave Depotivolackoftalent a 2-1 win over BMW Who, with Howard Vaughan scoring the consolation goal for BMW.

New team, Betws-yn-Rhos played a friendly against Colwyn Bay Royals before starting in the league next week, the result was a 4-1 win for the Royals.
