Royals and Villa thriller in Futebol league

COLWYN BAY ROYALS and Action Villa played out a thrilling end-to-end draw in the latest round of fixtures in the Colwyn Bay Futebol League.

Goals from man of the match Gez Roberts and Jody Bates for the Royals and Joel Hughes and Shaun Taylor-Lewis from Villa levelled the match, with the Bay third in the league and Action fourth.

OC Evolution stay top on goal difference after a 6-1 win over Aksaray FC, with two strikes from man of the match Matty Wafer as well as goals from Dan Jones, Ben Evans, Tom Brain and Dan Taylor-Lewis, with Ryan Thomas pulling one back for Aksaray.

After a week off, Magnificent 7 got back to winning ways by beating Depotivolackoftalent 6-0 to go back into second place, with two goals a piece from Kevin Goodwin, Eric Wright and Paul Cornwall. Depo’s stand in goalkeeper Mike Hanily was awarded the man of the match gong.

New team Betws-yn-Rhos were on the wrong side of a 5-1 defeat from BMW Who, with man of the match Lee Cole scoring a hat-trick, a brilliant individual goal from Clwyd Roberts and another from Lee Jones, Jordan Porter replied for Betws.
