COLWYN BAY CC drew their Liverpool Competition clash with fellow North Wales side Northop Hall on Monday.
Hall declared on 202 for eight, with Ryan Holtby and Paul Jenkins both taking three wickets and Arthur Jones two.
Sion Morris and Jordan Evans put together 92 runs for the third wicket to take the Bay to 123, but time ran out as they chased down their target, finishing on 162-5 from 40 overs.
The Seconds meanwhile raced to victory against Skelmersdale, who were bowled out for just 58 runs.
Nick Woodward and Glyn GIbbons took took five and four wickets respectively, before Dave Wallace (11), Dafydd Rhys (33) and Ethan Ray (14) secured the win in the 17th over.
Both the First and Second XI’s Saturday fixtures fell foul of the weather, with the Thirds taking centre stage with a 23 run win against Formby.
