THE NEW futebol season kicked off in Llandudno this week with four matches taking place despite high winds and rain.
Barstuds had the best win of the night with a 7-0 win over Real Ale Madrid, followed up by Intellectuals scoring the most goals with an 8-2 win over Team Reem.
The game between Barakuda and Greatness could have gone either way. Both sides spent time in the lead, and in the dying minutes Barakuda scored the winning goal to come through 4-3.
Another new team, Incredible Misfits took on Tudno Tigers but the Tigers were worthy 2-0 winners with some flowing football.
