A DISASTROUS performance from Abergele spoiled their end of season celebrations, going down by ten wickets to Pontblyddyn.
Despite the crushing defeat to the league champions, Gele live to see another day in Division Two after avoiding relegation by eight points.
The worst possible start saw them reduced to 0-4, and things failed to get much better as just 17 runs came for all ten wickets, before Pont wrapped up their win in the fourth over.
Gele Seconds also beat the drop after their weekend game, beating Bethesda by 104 runs.
The Seconds rattled off 196 runs from just 25 overs for six losses, whilst Pesda managed just 96 for all ten of their batsmen.
The win saw them maintain their Division Four status by five points at the expense of Bersham, who lost their final game of the season against Conwy.
