GLAN CONWY hit four second half goals at the weekend to crush Llanfairpwll 5-1.
A Merick Knight goal on 41 minutes broke the deadlock for Glan, and Jamie Williams netted on the hour mark to double the lead.
Pwll’s Richard Owen pulled one back from the penalty spot ten minutes later, but Allan Webb restored the two goal cushion with his first goal for the club on 73 minutes.
Williams’ second of the game ten minutes from time made it 4-1, and another Webb strike rounded off the scoring on 87 minutes.
Late goals were also the order of the day in Llandudno Junction’s weekend game, as they picked up an impressive point from second placed Pwllheli at The Flyover.
The visitors gained the upper hand through Danny Rylance in the 71st minute, only for Jamie Jones to net the equaliser on 83 minutes to share the spoils and end Pwllheli’s 100% start to the season.
Penmaenmawr Phoenix were also in the goals after a 3-1 win away to Nantlle Vale.
Shane Jones put Pen in front on 27 minutes, and though Vale drew level later in the half though Gavin Davies, second half strikes from Ryan Woods and Billy Osborne saw Phoenix through.
