POSTERS have been circulated urging witnesses to come forward after a sex attack.
Police have rolled out a further appeal for information after a woman aged 18 was sexually assaulted in the Park Avenue area of Kinmel Bay.
Detective Inspector Alun Oldfield, who is leading the investigation, said: “The response from the public has been extremely encouraging. I do believe that there are further witnesses who have yet to come forward who could provide important information in this case."
“The area where the incident took place is an un-adopted road at the end of Park Avenue which is a route used by people walking their dogs.
“Houses are also situated nearby and as such it is possible that someone may have seen or heard something on that particular evening and we are keen to speak to them.”
DI Oldfield said searches by specialist teams have already taken place at the site of the attack which occured between 8.30pm to 9pm on October 5.
Detectives urged anyone who witnessed suspicious behaviour in the area in the weeks before the incident to call police on 101.
