A RESPITE home for HIV sufferers is still fighting for funding.
The Tyddyn Bach Trust, based in Penmaenmawr, provides respite for sufferers of HIV.
The trust opened in the grounds of an Edwardian house in1997 and has since cared for more than 2,000 people.
Running costs annually amount to about £80,000 and it has encountered difficulities in receiving statutory funding.
Sally Drury, company secretary for the trust, said they had plans to develop an annexe on the centre into a trading area to help raise funds, but this could threaten the possibility of grants from groups such as the Welsh Government.
Ms Drury said she found it depressing that the Welsh Government wasn't encouraging a charity such as theirs, which is unique in Wales.
