BOTH The Magnificent 7 and OC Evoltuion kept up their 100% records in the Colwyn Bay Futebol league with big wins this week, with the 7 top after a 13-2 win over Mr Tumbles Purple Dream Team.
Two superb strikes from Stephen Wood found the net for the Dream Team, but six goals from Paul Cornwall, four for Chris Campbell and three from Kevin Goodwin ensured Magnificent stayed top.
OC won 6-1 against a full strength Aksary FC, the difference being a trio of great goals scored by Matty Wafer, whilst Ben Evans (2) and Scott Lawson completing the scoring for Evolution, and Brett Sadler scored the goal for Aksary.
Third place Action Villa also had a very good 4 - 1 win over Unpredictables, with Joel Hughes scoring a hatrick and with one from Shaun Taylor Lewis, Sam Lee replied for the Unpredictables.
The game between BMW Who and Kev’s Team produced a cracker, with Kev’s Team running out 4-3 winners in a game that could of gone either way. Grant Montgomery scoring two with one a piece from Joe Carey and Kev Williams, and Rhys Rowlands (2) and Tom Roberts replied for BMW.
In the Llandudno league, Greatness and Team Reem played out a cracking game, with the former finishing up 5-4 winners in a ding-dong battle.
Greatness won the match wit ha late breakaway, as Todd Davies and Greg Penrose both netted twice and Stephen Jones added another, whilst Andy Campbell, Adam Simon and Gaz Sharp were on target for Team Reem.
Two goals a piece from Sean Parry and Dan Sanford gave the Barstuds a comfortable 4 - 0 win over Barakuda, to maintain second place in the league.
A goal from each for Trevor Garner and Neil Catherall saw the Incredible Misfits and the Intellectuals end all square with a 1-1 draw.
With Real Ale Madrid being unable to field a team, Tudno Tigers were awarded a 5-0, 3 point win, which keeps them in top place in the league and the team to beat.
