MICK MCGRAA’S Conwy revolution continued at the weekend with his first three points at The Morfa in a 2-1 win over Guilsfield.

Conwy dominated the opening exchanges, and new loan signing John Owen wasted no time in opening his Conwy account with a smart finish after being put through on goal after 12 minutes.

Ian Pattinson almost added a second six minutes later, before Bangor hitman Owen doubled his tally by powering home Tom Rooney’s pass.

More chances came and went for United, and just before the interval Guilsfield capitalised on a defensive error to pull one back through Mike Parry’s tap-in.

The goal spurred on the visitors who cranked up the pressure in the second half, but Conwy continued to look dangerous going forward with Eddie Jebb failing to convert chances.

A nervy final quarter of the hour saw the Tangerines pegged back by the visitors, with Mark Orme and Joe Williams inspirational at the back as they held on for McGraa’s second win in charge.

Conwy United have also set up their own YouTube channel, which will feature highlights of home games and away matches where possible.

Highlights of the last two home games against Cefn Druids and Guilsfield are now online at www.youtube.com/conwyunitedtv.
