TWO of North Wales' heavyweights will face-off in the quarter finals of the NWCFA Cup after holders Colwyn Bay were drawn at home to Welsh Champions Bangor City.

The mouthwatering tie looks set to see former Seagulls skipper Damian Allen return to Llanelian Road to face his old club.

Bay boss Jon Newby said he was delighted with the draw, and said he was looking forward to stepping out at Bangor City's new Nantporth stadium.

"It's an exciting draw, and we're away at their new ground which will be a really nice place to play," he said.

"It always happens in football. Hopefully Damo will play and a few of his midfield friends won't mind marking him. It's a game we're very much looking forward to."

Another exciting draw will see Llandudno Town and Conwy United battle it out for the right to play away to Llanrwst United.

Local rivals Rhyl and Prestatyn Town will also go head-to-head in the quarter finals, and CPD Glantraeth will play the winners of the Anglesey derby between Llangefni Town and Amlwch Town to complete the line-up.
