CONWY UNITED booked their place in the North Wales Coast FA Challenge Cup quarter-finals in an action-packed 4-3 win at Llandudno.

Tudno took a 4th minute lead through promising midfielder Julian Williams, but Chris Quinn levelled matters on 17 minutes after the hosts failed to clear a free-kick.

John Owen slotted Conwy ahead five minutes later, and Leigh Craven opened up a two goal cushion with a snapshot from inside the area.

Llandudno showed their fighting spirit to bounce back in the second half, with two quick-fire goals from Dean Seager and Lee Thomas squaring up the tie.

But Paul Cassidy, on his return from injury, netted the winner, rounding off a Conwy counter-attack to earn a last eight match-up with Llanrwst.
