A PROPERTY advisor has erected a new hoarding in a bid to market a run-down Llandudno hotel to potential buyers.

Henry Prescott, of Prescott and Partners Commercial Property Advisors, has installed a new sign outside Tudno Castle Hotel claiming the site is ripe for development and including contact information.

He was hopeful of attracting a buyer for the iconic hotel within the next 12 months, despite the difficult economic climate.

“It’s a great shame because it really should be moved on, but it’s just such a difficult economic climate,” he said.

“We’ve put the board up in the hope that someone with a magic wand will come along and see the potential.

“We have a good chance of moving it on in the next calendar year, it’s just a case of finding someone who can do it.

“Nobody just has £5 million going spare to do it.

"The energy costs are also quite unattractive, but I’m hopeful.”
