A HEALTHY dose of laughter is what the doctor ordered for Llandudno theatre audiences.

Robert Powell and Joe Pasquale star in a new stage version of classic British comedy Doctor in the House at Venue Cymru from April 24-28.

Follow medical student Simon Sparrow as he begins his five-year internship at St. Swithin’s Teaching Hospital.

Young Simon’s continually draws the ire of irascible head surgeon Sir Lancelot Spratt, but his social life is spiced up by new friends Tony Grimsdyke and John Evans.

The new production follows in the footsteps of a book series, a 1954 film starring Dirk Bogarde and a hit 1970s sitcom, which was penned by the likes of John Cleese, Graeme Garden and Bill Oddie.

Get ready for a barrel of laughs as the motley young band of medics get up to all manner of mischief, with hilarious consequences.

Tickets are £11 - £26.
To book, contact the Venue Cymru box office on 01492 872 000 or visit www.venuecymru.co.uk.
