CREPE flipping traders marked Shove Tuesday by taking part in a pantastic sprint.
Colwyn Bay shop workers were pitted against each other at the Bay View Centre at 11am yesterday as they pelted down the street for a traditional pancake race.
Ingrid Lewis, Town Centre Manager, said: "There's always friendly inter-shop rivalry and usually just a little cheating going on! It was a nice day, good weather and it as good to see people enjoying themselves."
Joint winners of the Morrisons sponsored event, Jay Lynch of Iceland and Leigh Ward of Poundworld, smashed through the finishing line ribbon in fine form.
Participant Jo Culshaw of Cash Generators said: “It’s nice to see Colwyn Bay shops taking part in such a fun event - it’s a bit of friendly competition.”
The event is now entering its eleventh year.
