THERE will be plenty of feel good fun as a tribute to one of pop’s pioneering groups comes to Rhyl.
Now is the time to book a seat for Big Girl’s Don’t Cry, coming to the Pavilion Theatre in Rhyl on Thursday, October 11, which celebrates Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.
The New Jersey lads’ sound first enchanted audiences across the world in the 60s, with a slew of doo wop-infused hits penned by band member Bob Gaudio such as Sherry, Big Girl’s Don’t Cry and Walk Like a Man.
Line up changes and Gaudio’s move to full time producer and songwriter saw Frankie and his revamped band score hits in the 70s with Who Loves You and December ‘63 (Oh What a Night).
With four phenomenal singers and a fantastic live band, Big Girls Don’t Cry also includes such hits as Bye Bye Baby, Working My Way Back to You Babe, Stay and Grease is the Word, which was one of Valli’s many solo releases.
Show time is 7.30pm. Tickets are £17.50 and £15. To book, call the Pavilion Theatre box office on 01745 330 000, or book online at www.rhylpavilion.co.uk.
