JON NEWBY has welcomed striker Kevin Holsgrove back to the Red Lion Foods Stadium.
The 24 year old forward, who appeared for the Bay under former boss Neil Young and spent last season at Vauxhall Motors, has signed up along with Gulls favourite Chris Sanna, who has agreed terms for the 2012/13 campaign.
Holsgrove started Saturday’s 3-3 draw with Caersws, which also saw veteran former Chelsea defender Frank Sinclair return to first team action.
An 11 minute hat-trick from Lee Davey put the Bay firmly in control, but the Seagulls dropped off the pace in the second half allowing the visitors to level matters.
Pre-season continues this Saturday away at Welsh Premier League outfit Airbus, before the much anticipated fixture with Man City next Wednesday, August 15.
PRE-SEASON continued for Deiniol Graham’s Llandudno side on Saturday with a 3-2 defeat to Stafford Rangers.
Two Lee Jones free-kicks found the back of the net for Llandudno, who play Llangollen at 2.30pm on Saturday.
CONWY Borough boss Chris Herbert is hoping to bring in a couple of new faces as he gets ready for his side’s final pre-season match of the season against Holyhead Hotspur on Friday, August 17.
He said: “No one is certain of a starting place yet and I expect the players to make it hard for me to leave them out.”
“I'm probably a couple of players short at the moment, and I'm looking to get one or two more players with quality in before the Chester FC game next Tuesday night. But if the right players aren't available to me then I have no problem with going with what we have already.”
Borough have also added experienced former Bangor City and Rhyl manager Lee Williams to the club’s coaching staff.
