With the festive season now a distant memory, Colwyn Bay Round Table (CBRT) members have counted up all the generous donations collected during it's annual Santa tour.
In the three weeks leading up to Christmas Santa spent 11 nights touring the streets of the county visiting homes and residents.
Volunteers from local organisations toured with Santa and his sleigh and managed to collect more than £3500 which will all go back into the community and charities.
In addition to the local volunteers, several Businesses donate their time and services every year.
CRBT member, Dave Faragher, said: "It was another great year for the Round Table sleigh. Everyone involved loves seeing the reaction of the kids when they get to meet Santa.
"We’d like to thank everyone involved – from the volunteer collectors and local business that help us get the sleigh on the road to the members of the community that came out and supported us – we’re looking forward to putting the money we raised back into local charitable causes in 2018.”
Funds raised are distributed to numerous county causes. Anyone wishing to apply for support are invited to contact CBRT via the website (www.colwynbay.roundtable.co.uk) or on the groups Facebook site (www.fb.com/colwynbayroundtable).
