The RNLI has formed a lifeboat supporters group in Llandudno.
The group has the primary aims of raising funds for the lifeboat service and helping maintain the RNLI's existing high profile in the local area.
It was formed following an open evening at the lifeboat station when a number of local people volunteered to assist the RNLI.
The group has already arranged its first event, a shanty night featuring the popular Liverpool Shanty Kings together with a hot-pot supper. This will be held at North Wales Golf Club. Llandudno, on Friday March 16.
