A RHOS-on-Sea care home has been chosen by residents and families as one of the top 20 care homes in Wales.

Chaseley House residential care home in Whitehall Road, received the award from the leading review guide for care homes: carehome.co.uk. It is one of 1064 care homes in Wales.

Mark Owen, owner of Chaseley House Rest Home said: “The award made us proud, and is due to the hard work put in by our loyal and dedicated staff who provide professional loving care to all our residents.

“I have a saying: care is not a product, you can't buy it off a shelf, you’re either a caring individual or not, and all our staff are caring individuals.

“Our mission and philosophy is to deliver care with dignity in a way which makes our residents feel cared for, wanted and safe in a loving environment.

He added: “Now we have achieved the award I want to make sure we maintain the high standards that achieved the recognition.”

Davina Ludlow, chair of carehome.co.uk, said: “It is the residents, their families and friends who have the first hand experience, which is why we use their reviews to find the best care homes in the UK.

“Chaseley House Rest Home proved it provides a high standard of care and we would like to congratulate them on being a top 20 care home in Wales. It is an achievement to be recognised for being a top rated care home by the very people you care for.”
