ST DAVID's Hospice postponed Celebration of Wales concert will be taking place this week.

The concert will take place at St John’s Church, Llandudno at 7.30pm on Thursday, March 22. The event will feature Côr Meibion Colwyn and rising star, North Wales Baritone - Twm Tegid.

Côr Meibion Colwyn first formed in the 1890s and is proud of its long history. Having performed on a number of main stages, both abroad and on the home ground in Wales, the choir is looking forward to supporting St David's Hospice.

The singers will be performing alongside local rising star, Twm Tegid who’s voice is described by choir members as "simply outstanding".

Money raised from the concert will support patients in Conwy, Gwynedd and Anglesey, their families and carers, who are living with advanced illnesses and need care and support in a safe, home from home environment.

Andrew Everley, community and events fundraising manager, said: "After the disappointment of having to cancel the previous concert due to the failure with the heating system at the church, we are delighted that Côr Meibion Colwyn and Twm Tegid are available to perform for our supporters.

"All tickets purchased for the previous concert are valid and we look forward to welcoming you all."

Tickets are still available to purchase online for £10 per person by visiting www.stdavidshospice.org.uk or alternatively from St David’s Hospice on Abbey Rd, Llandudno (01492 873664).

Limited tickets will be available on the night.
