THE driver of a Ford Focus has been arrested and charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving following the collision on the A5, in the Ogwen Valley, on Saturday afternoon in which a motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital with serious life threatening injuries
Dean Martin Howard, 26, of Vancouver, Canada, is remanded to appear before Llandudno Magistrates this morning (Monday, April 23). The 47-year-old motorcyclist remains in hospital in Stoke with serious, life threatening injuries.
Shortly after 4:15pm, officers had been called to a report of a four-vehicle collision involving three cars and a motorcycle on the A5 at Ogwen Valley. One of the vehicles involved, a blue coloured Ford Focus.
The male motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital in Stoke with serious life threatening injuries. The driver of the Ford Focus was also taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd by ambulance with what was believed to be minor injuries.
