Thousands flocked to Colwyn Bay's Promenade on Saturday for the 2018 Prom Xtra.

Families enjoyed death-defying acrobats, trial bike stunts, have a go inflatable assault course, kayaking, quadbikes, cricket, and futsal.

Activity workshops, live entertainment, interactive animal displays, funfair, hovercraft and helicopter rides were also a part of the annual event.

Cllr Louise Emery, Conwy County Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Economic Development said: “Every year Prom Xtra offers a brilliant day out to families in North Wales, and once again this year didn’t disappoint.

“It’s a fantastic event offering so much free entertainment for all ages, and a variety to suit all tastes.

"Prom Xtra proved to be the right environment for a great day out with friends and family.”

The Prom Xtra was blessed by beautiful warm weather like the Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza the week prior.
