LLANDUDNO lifeboat has launched a recruitment programme for sea going and land based volunteers.
There are opportunities for men and women to train as inshore lifeboat crew members, or to join the group which looks after visitors to the lifeboat station.
An RNLI spokesman said: "We have now been fully operational at our sea front boathouse for some time, and experience has shown we need to grow our team. We are looking for men and women interested in joining as trainee crew who are aged 18 or over, medically fit, regularly available in Llandudno and able to reach the lifeboat station within minutes. Likewise we would welcome interest from people to consider joining as visitor stewards at the boathouse. We will provide comprehensive training.”
