Full of family fun for children of all ages, the annual Deganwy Prom Day will be held on the first Saturday in June.

Vicky Macdonald, chairman of the organising committee said: “The idea behind the Prom Day, which has been running for many years, is to bring everyone in the community together for fun and activities, while raising money for local charities.

“This year we are supporting the Blind Veterans, Guide Dogs Cymru, St David's Hospice, Bees Wales, RNLI Lifeguards and Alzheimer's Research.

“Activities for the children will include a traditional sports day with races, Harley the Clown with his circus skills and Commando X Fit inflatable assault course. Another highlight is our fun dog show and the dancing displays from local dance companies Cinti, Kaleidoscope and Conwy Reflections.”

Vicky added: “We have our fingers crossed for fine sunny weather on the day.”
