Schools, playgroups and residents across the county took time out to celebrate the Royal Wedding last week.

While the Duke and Dutchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, were saying their vowels on Saturday people all around the country were celebrating in their own way.

Although, Ysgol Badanod T Gwynn Jones, were not in school for the Duke and Dutchess' special day they produced their own mock wedding, complete with Prince Harry and Megahn Markle.

Pupils Harry Williams and Trinity Tinsley-Gore got the honour of playing the duke and dutchess in an attempt to recreate the special event.

Llandullas Playgroup held activities last Friday to mark the day while even the 12th Llandudno Brownies group held an event last week for the couple's special day.

The Parkway Luncheon Club, in Rhos-on-Sea, had a special lunch on Friday for the Royal Wedding with tables decorated with a red, white and blue theme.

While, Glan Conwy's pantomime group put on an afternoon tea at the Church House Glan Conwy on Saturday with entertainment, a singalong and lots of flag waving. All profits from this tea will be donated to the 'Cora's Climb' fund.

Various street parties were also held across the county to mark the special occasion.
