LLANDUDNO’s Meetup group is to run a roaring 1920s charity dance this Saturday at The Grand Hotel.
Keith McMillan, Meetup’s organiser, aims to raise £10,000 this year for North Wales charities. He said: “This next event will have a special Peaky Blinders theme with lots of dressed up period clothes, with a live band, dance lessons and a charity gambling table.”
Meetup is a group for anyone who wants to meet other people for social nights and outings, exploring the countryside, meeting in pubs or going dancing. It’s for couples and singles young and old to meet up and enjoy each other’s company.
The charity events Keith has organised through Meetup have raised funds for: The Heart Foundation, a Hospice, Prostate Cancer, MacMillan Nurses and PHAB Llandudno.
