A WOMAN handed a night-time curfew after being convicted of a £16,831 benefits fraud has had it amended – to allow her to do her washing.
Magistrates at Llandudno heard that 65-year-old Viveca Gibson’s washing machine and dryer were in a shed at the bottom of her back garden, which meant that she would be unable to use it between 6pm and 6am when the curfew was in force.
The amendment means Gibson, is now allowed to go out to the shed at her home in Gors Road, Towyn.
