A young Llandudno footballer has already enjoyed a dram 2018 season.

It's only June, but already, former Ysgol y Creuddyn pupil, Harri Jones has had an outstanding year when it comes to milestones in his football career.

In February, the 17-year-old go the call up for th Wales under 18 academy, representing his country in Ireland where the team took home the Memorial Cup.

His home club, Llandudno FC, took notice of this performance elevating him from the under 19s development squad to the first team where he made his Welsh Premier League debut.

Last month he received another call up for the Welsh side, jetting off to Gibraltar for a week to compete against the home nation - taking out both games, 3-0 and 2-0.

Harri's debut in the Welsh side meant he was presented with a Wales Cap. The 17-year-old received his cap from non other than Senior Welsh Football team coach, Ryan Giggs.

He was also given a chance to meet the senior team before they headed off to LA where they took on Mexico.

Harri currently studies sports development ay Coleg Llandrillo. He grew up playing for Llandudno Junction until the under 16 grade, at which time he switched to Llandudno FC.
