POLICE have made three arrests today after drugs raids on addresses in Llandudno.

A man from Merseyside and a local woman were arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs, and a 17-year-old male, also from Merseyside, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

PC 3112 Liam Jones said: “These intelligence led warrants were part of the continuing work being undertaken under Operation Scorpion, in response to our communities concerns relating to drug supply and its consequences. It is yet another example of where we have listened to concerns and acted upon them.”

“We have seized assets including hundreds of pounds of cash. We have also recovered drugs paraphernalia, mobile phones and a small quantity of what is believed to be class A and C drugs.

“Possession and distribution of controlled drugs will not be tolerated in our communities and we will continue to make determined efforts to disrupt this activity.”

The raids were on properties in Ffordd yr Orsedd and King's Avenue.
