The original X-Factor sensations are returning to Llandudno with another exhilarating evening of opera.
Multi-platinum selling vocal harmony masters G4 will be back at Venue Cymru this September.
The group – comprised of stars Jonathan Ansell and Ben Thapa, baritone Mike Christie and new member Nick Ashby – brought classical music to British reality TV in 2004 with their unforgettable performance of Nessun Dorma and have continued to blow audiences away, year after year, with their unique style and impactful harmonic vocals.
The band’s approach – in the vein of the legendary Luciano Pavarotti – of presenting venerated liberettos. without the stuffy context, and their infusing of pop masterpieces with classical sophistication has won over many hitherto opera sceptics.
The Llandudno audience can enjoy their renditions of such classics as Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody, Frank Sinatra’s My Way and Radiohead’s Creep, along with heart-stopping tracks from their recent release, Love Songs.
For the performance, G4 will be joined by some very special guests live on stage, including singer Mary-Jess, who won X Factor in China and sang a version of the Downton Abbey TV theme.
G4 will be returning to Venue Cymru on Sunday September 9 7.30pm.
Tickets are £27.50 and on sale now from venuecymru.co.uk or by calling the box office on 01492 872000.
