Concert goers can expect to see something different at Access All Eirias this year.

Paloma Faith, in an exclusive interview with Pioneer journalist Patrick Glover, said she wasn't sure what crowds in Colwyn Bay could expect because it depended how she felt on the day.

Paloma said: "It's why I love this job, the playing live, because I have flexibility and can be spontaneous. I'll perform whatever I'm feeling like on the day."

She said she is particularly looking forward to her Colwyn Bay visit with Wales among one her favourite places to perform.

Paloma will be performing at Stadiwm ZipWorld on Saturday, July 14 as part of her UK Architect summer tour. The tour has already taken her to places including Kent, Gloucestershire, Cornwall and York.

She has managed to also find time to also fit in performances at Isle of MTV in Malta, Capital FM's Summertime Ball and BBC Music's The Biggest Weekend.

Paloma said: "I have really enjoyed the whole tour so its hard to pick just one (favourite concert). I prefer the tour as a whole.

"I love it (performing live), it's why I do this job. I just love playing."

These concerts and tour has topped off a whirlwind 12 months for the UK performer, who has also produced one of the biggest hits of the summer with Lullaby (feat.Sigala).

It marks her return to the spotlight after a three year absence for the birth of her first child.

Paloma said becoming a mother has completely changed her outlook on her music career and performing.

But she has been surprised at how quickly she has managed to return the stage and her career and seemlessly transitioned back onto the music limelight.

She said: "You have a lot less time for yourself. You also have a sense of duty to perform.

"You don't loose your voice, touch wood, something kicks in, it's almost like I'm resistant to illness."

The UK summer will not mark the end of her tours. In November she has already revealed she will be heading down under to Australia to tour with fellow British singer Sam Smith.

Her latest Album, The Architect, was labelled one of the biggest in the UK charts in 2017, peaking at number one.

It finished at number 10 in the top 20 biggest selling artist albums of 2017 on the official chart, based on sales, beating the likes of Ed Sheeran's album X and Taylor Swift's, Reputation.

Some of the biggest tracks from her album have included Crybaby and Till I'm Done while she has also released another single in 2018, Make your own kind of music.

Before her three years away from singing she claimed the Brit Award for best female solo artist and was up for the same award in 2018 only to be beaten for the gong by Du Lipa.

Paloma will be joined in Colwyn Bay next weekend by Jack Savoretti and Llandudno young-talent Nia Wyn.

Tickets are still on sale now through Ticketmaster.co.uk, from Venue Cymru, or by calling the Venue Cymru Box Office on 01492 872 000.

If you are unable to make the Colwyn Bay concert she has eight other stops on her UK tour before its conclusion in late August.
