A CHURCH service to mark Sea Sunday, and celebrate the work of Llandudno lifeboat, will be held at St Paul's Church in Craig y Don.
The service on Sunday July 8 will start at 4.00pm and will raise money for the RNLI. It will include music by Thomas Tallis and the hymn Eternal Father Strong to Save (For Those In Peril On The Sea).
Rev Noel Carter, rector of St Paul's, said: "The RNLI recently moved to a new boathouse close to our church, so it seems right that we should support the work of the lifeboat crew spiritually and financially.
"They provide a valuable service to our community, and the service is chance to say thank you, and remember the risks that the RNLI takes in saving lives."
Sea Sunday, which usually falls on the second Sunday in July, is the day when churches remember those whose lives take them out to sea, for work or pleasure.
