A SMALL encampment of travellers has been set up in the car park of Conwy Business Centre, at Llandudno Junction.
The travellers moved to the site last Saturday. It is believed they are the same group which had previously set up an encampment in the car park at Tesco’s store in Llandudno Junction.
The two sites are just a couple of hundred yards away from each other.
A spokesman for Conwy County Borough Council confirmed the business centre park was council property.
The spokesman said: "We are aware of the unauthorised encampment at the business centre.
"The council follows the North Wales protocol for managing unauthorised encampments,. and has a a duty of care for the welfare of all communities.
"In accordance with the protocol and expectations of Welsh government, the council can provide toilets and clean-up such sites to manage health and safety.
"Situations such as this highlight the need for transit site provision across North Wales."
