Llandudno Magistrates Court
An Old Colwyn man wept when he appeared in court charged with attempting to rob two men close to his home.
Nathan Joseph Taylor, 25, of Rose Hill, is accused of attempting to rob Bryn Davies, 78, and Robert Hyde, 63, in Church Walks, Old Colwyn, on August 1.
Diane Williams, prosecuting at Llandudno magistrates’ court, said both men were injured in the incident.
Defence solicitor Graham Parry made no application for bail and Taylor was remanded in custody to appear at Caernarfon Crown Court on September 3.
