A popular charity event is set to brighten Llandudno’s West Shore again this year.

St David’s Hospice’s Colour Run is on again in 2018, with the event due to take place on the West Shore on Sunday, September 9 at 1pm.

Last year’s event attracted more than 500 entrants who run, walked ans skipped their way through the course while being covered in all the colours of the rainbow.

St David’s Hospice community and events fundraising manager, Andrew Everley, said it was a fantastic event and a great way to raise money for a great cause.

He said: “The Colour Run has been a mainstay in the Hospice fundraising calendar for many years and guarantees you, your family and your friends fantastic memories whilst also raising vital funds for St David’s Hospice.

“It is always a fun experience for all involved. Open to ages three and up the event is one for all of the family.”

Registration is £15 for adults, £10 for children and £45 for a family (based on two adults and two children).

Entry includes a bottle of water, a sachet of coloured powder, funky sunglasses and medal for all those that complete the run.

The Colour Run has been a part of the St David's Hospice calendar for a number of years now and has seen more than £60,000 raised for the Llandudno based charity.
