A PLANNING inspector has been to see how Bodysgallen Hall would be affected by the development of 110 houses nearby at Marl Lane, Deganwy.
Mr Iwan Lloyd presided over a planning inquiry into Conwy Borough Council’s refusal to give permission for the development, and this week went to see the site from Bodysgallen Hall for himself. He had previously visited the development site at the junction of Marl Lane and Pentwyn Road.
Beech Developments had appealed against the refusal by Conwy planners to allow the houses.
The Inquiry, last week, heard the proposed development would have an impact on views of Bodysgallen Hall and views from the Hall. However it also heard the impact the development would have is peripheral to the setting of the Hall.
