THERE will be a new face on Penmaenmawr Town Council.
JOHN Jones has been won the by election held on Thursday.
He polled 202 votes, against Karrie Williams’ 63 votes.
The seat became vacant when former cllr Geoff Runciman, who represented Capelulo ward, resigned for personal reasons earlier this year.
A total of 266 people voted, a 21 per cent turnout, this included one spoilt ballot paper. Of the total 168 people cast votes in Dwygyfylchi parish hall, and 98 entered postal votes.
